But their advantage is to possibly permit more than one station to be on the same band (cw/phone/gota). Did we have that happen, and how did it work out? -- Robert N3IC

74.226.198.28 (adsl-226-198-28.gsp.bellsouth.net) wrote on Fri, 29 Jun 2007 19:30:16: Working the Liberia station Saturday afternoon (he responded to my CQ on 20 Phone) should have been a hint that the 3 el quad was facing east instead of west. I did a fair amount of switching between the 40 Moxon and the NVIS dipole, and never heard a signal that was louder on the dipole. But I still think we should have it, as well as two antennas for 20. I'm waiting for Paul to provide the VHF log data before I run the Lexar dongles through the computer to come up with the numbers. But we probably only made about 2/3 the QSOs compared to last year.

By the way, we were short $25 in operator contributions this year, I'll add it to the $120 I just paid for next year's reservation. Also, I have already spent a couple of hours untangling the ropes and am not finished yet. PLEASE use the reels and don't just wrap them in a coil when taking antennas down next year. -- Robert N3IC
