This year, I'd like to aim a 40m antenna towards the NE to provide better rates in the evening toward the populated Philly, NYC, Boston area. May also try to get an 80m dipole as well situated to provide better coverage in that direction. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Also added snaphooks to the beam elements to make them easier to install. Installed a cw filter in my K3 for those of you that will operate CW.

I like to eat them cold, don't know about anyone else (of course, you could heat them up on the grill). I can pick them up from CJ's, a premiere seafood restaurant. Backfin for $9.95/ea, jumbo lump for $13.95/ea. Place your orders for one or the other (give quantities) with me. Bob is planning on picking up deli for those who prefer that. ---Robert

Paul found that we worked a number of stations on 40/80 that they didn't, mostly toward the NW (WPA, OH, etc.). We missed many towards the NE though. Also, surprisingly, they were able to maintain very strong rates on 20m through 2am, and 80m became their best band only during the 6am and 7am hours. 10 pm - 2am 40m was their combined best band. THE CONCLUSION: Don't be afraid to try 20M even at midnight.
