With solar filter (see description for Solar Eclipse 2024) fully zoomed f/8 with 1/79, 1/1000, 1/1000, 1/1000, 1/1600, 1/1000, 1/1600, 1/1600 second exposure times respectively.
You're not seeing sunspots, clouds were in and out of view! Beginning was at 13:15, peak 13:52, end 14:29.

"About 80 percent of the sun will be obscured as viewed from Maryland when the eclipse reaches its greatest extent here, about 2:43 p.m. A partial eclipse will be visible from 1:18 p.m. to 4:01 pm. here."

I didn't have any appropriate filters so I couldn't just point the camera at the sun (except for one shot below when the cloud cover did the same job for me). Instead I tried focusing onto blank paper using an SLR detachable lense, and capturing that.
